The sign above a shop or in its window plays such
an important role in attracting custom that it's crucial that it
is done right.
A sign that looks tatty or is badly executed can only lose business
for you.
Shop fascias are one of the more interesting formats
in sign making because the different posibilities range right across
the spectrum from simple black text on a white background to 3D
back-lit neon lettering surrounded by rope lights and fibreglass
mouldings. The sky really is the limit!
We can advise you on all the styles and technologies
available and offer ideas on what would suit you best. We've manufactured
and installed so many shop fronts that we've probably done something
similar in the past and can offer the benefit of our experience
as a good starting point.
Don't
forget your shop window can also be used either instead of or to
complement the space above it.
Either hang signs in the window,
perhaps illuminated, or use vinyl on the inside of the glass to
create the style you're looking for and to form the shape and image
that the shop projects to the outside world.
One popular way of
stamping a shop's identity on to a property without covering the
whole frontage is to use a vinyl surround running right round the
window, perhaps featuring the corporate colours and a strapline
or two. Doing this promotes your brand and allows you to see out
of the windows too!
A subtle effect can be achieved by using frosted
or tinted vinyl and cutting out letters and logos so that they stand
out as clear areas on an otherwise opaque window. Or go for hi-visibility
reflective and fluorescent materials - the choice is yours.
